Judit Roth is a Cerebral Palsy (CP) specialist with more than a decade of work experience with people who were born or have acquired brain damage. She has worked short or long term with over 500 clients with CP, or other neurologic disorders so far.
The combination of her extensive education and experience has made her a valuable resource for families, who are dealing with the daily care of a child with CP.
As a Conductor-Teacher, and an
advocate for Conductive Education
(CE), Roth was a co-founder of a CE school in California. As a
Visiting Assistant Professor at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids,
Michigan, Roth has helped Aquinas College to establish its own school
for children with CP, and has assisted to establish a college-level
training program for future conductor-teachers. Currently, Roth
is assisting new and existing CE programs throughout the United States.
Roth is a Fellow Member of The American
Academy for Cerebral Palsy
and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM), the International Peto Association
(IPA), the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), the Division for
Early Childhood (DEC), and the Division for Physical and Health
Disabilities (DPHD). She is serving on the Advisory Board for the
Peninsula Outreach Programs (POPS) in California.
Roth is an Adjunct Faculty at GRCC in
the Child Development
Program. Currently, she teaches Human Growth and Development, a
four credit class for college students in education, occupational
therapy assistant, and nursing programs.
Judit Roth has presented on numerous professional conferences and workshops, including presentation for the Chicago Rehabilitation Institute in Chicago, Illinois, the POHI/SXI Conference in Troy, Michigan, and the 5th World Congress on Conductive Education in Budapest, Hungary. Judit Roth graduated with high honors receiving her Masters in the Art of Teaching degree with early childhood endorsement from Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Prior to that, Roth graduated with
high honors, and
received a joint Special Education – Conductor – Elementary Education
degree from the Peto Andras Institute for the Motor Disabled and
Conductors’ College, from Budapest, Hungary.
She also holds state licenced teaching certifications in the following areas:

• Elementary Education, Grades K-5, All
subjects (6-8 self-contained classroom), and
• Early Childhood Education.

Roth is a native of Hungary, currently
living in Virginia Beach, Virginia with attorney husband, Bruce M.
Familant, and their son,
Jordan.

Qualified Conductor-Teachers
CPSCC directly hires and/or places highly qualified CE
practitioners. CPSCC has an extensive database of conductors, and
it maintains a unique relationship with this professional group, who
enjoy the continuous support and professional mentoring/training that
CPSCC provides.
All conductor-teachers hold B.A.
degrees in Education with specialization in motor disabilities.
Conductors are generalists licensed after four years of professional
college level training. They coordinate medicine, pschology,
speech and language pathology, physical and occupational therapy,
adaptive physical education, nursing, and pedagogy.
Susan S. Im, Immigration Attorney
Susan Im represents CPSCC on all immigration-related matters, which
mostly include labor certifications and H visa applications.
Ms. Im received her Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law
School in 1994. Ms. Im has exclusively focused on business and
family immigration law since 1997. In May 2005, Ms. Im was
appointed as a Member of Governor Granholm’s newly created Advisory
Council for Asian and Pacific American Affairs. Ms. Im is an
active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association
(AILA). She remains current on all the latest changes in law and
procedure at USCIS, DOL, and other government agencies that could
affect a client’s case.
Bruce M. Familant, Attorney
Mr. Familant drafts CPSCC’s contracts, and he advises CPSCC on business
matters. Also, when there is no conflict of interest, Mr.
Familant advises CPSCC’s clients on matters relating to employment law,
third-party contracts, and general litigation issues.
Mr. Familant graduated magna cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law
School in 1999. He is a published attorney, and he is licensed in
Michigan and has a pending bar admission to Washington, D.C.
Troy Ginzer, CPA
At CPSCC, Mr. Ginzer is responsible for contacting various states’
employment departments to set up Cerebral Palsy Solutions with state
withholding and unemployment compliance. He prepares quarterly
payroll tax returns and payroll checks, making sure the exact taxes are
withheld for Cerebral Palsy Solutions and the employees.
Mr. Ginzer received his B.A. in Economics & Management from Albion
College. He is Certified in Public Accounting.
Cindy Hillsey, Administrative
Coordinator
Cindy Hillsey performs a variety of administrative functions at CPSCC
so that CPSCC’s president, Judit Roth, can spend her time focusing on
CPSCC’s clients and their needs.
Ms. Hillsey received her B.S. in Management from Davenport University,
and she has over 25 years of work experience.
